Patty Walters is a specialist in team development and public speaking skills; of bringing out an individual and teams' brilliance, a gift for guiding, coaching, teaching, and mentoring with fun and play.
Her mission is to use her gifts, experiences and resources to empower and inspire others to become more playful, powerful, purposeful, successful, and fulfilled as they make a positive impact on the world. Patty combines her 20 plus years of progressive corporate work within several large Information Technology departments of Fortune 500 companies in managing projects and people, developing and delivering training and communication, and combines it with her experience in coaching, her deep belief in people, and theater Improvisation to deliver high energy programs for teams of 5 to 50 and more, leadership teams, boards of directors, and individuals. She discovered Improvisation while attending professional development trainings and coach training, and soon fell in love with the concept of applying Improv to business situations, as well as the elegant way Improv assists people to discover more of their natural talents and brilliance. She has produced one woman shows, Improv shows, and facilitated and produced a fund raiser called I'll Have What She's Having in 2013. Patty is a change catalyst. She has a unique approach to teams has proven over and over again that people do want permission to have fun, respond to coaching instead of managing, and expectation setting. That waiting to be explored, is a level of performance and personal confidence and creativity which goes beyond what people believe about themselves. Patty also assists those who experience stage fright, lack of self confidence, and fear of delivering a presentation or talk in front of a group. She spent most of her adult and childhood years not being comfortable in situations where she was center stage, asked to deliver new information, or even a book report. She believes the more authentic we can be in front of others, the better. What altered her performance in all areas listed above was the process of having a powerful coach who believed in people's brilliance, and held them to a level which went beyond her experience. Now she assists others in the process of seeing themselves differently than possibly ever before. Patty provides solutions which provide skills at a higher level of listening and responding to team or audience members, and to be more of who you came here to be. As a producer, Patty has coached individuals to deliver creative and original shows for individuals and organizations as a fund raiser. (Shelly Sings in 2011, Live Out Loud in 2012, and I'll Have what She's Having in 2013). These events were created from a blank piece of paper, characters developed, storyboarding the flow, and delivered to a paying audience. Please contact Patty to schedule your Rock Your 2014 Session! |
